I usually don't buy things right when they come out, but I've decided to go for the Motorola Droid. Since I use primarily Google offerings for mail and calendar, having a Google OS just makes sense. Since the iPhone is the standard, here's a video I found interesting.

Having been a Verizon customer for about 10 years, and not wanting to switch to the iPhone because I don't like dropped calls, a phone with Google Android on the Verison network is very exciting. I've bought Verizon phones because it's what works with their network. When the iPhone came out, I was a little sad that it wasn't available on Verizon. All that has changed with the new phone being released from Verizon. I'm looking forward to October 30th this year (assuming decoding of the count-down was correct from this page).
