You Just Know

As I mentioned a few posts ago, I want my next car to be a Lexus ES 300. While I'm shopping for the car, it just doesn't feel like it is the right timing. Don't get me wrong, I don't think there is a wrong time to own a Lexus.... but it just doesn't feel like it is the right timing for me to buy a car. My car is still running just fine, I don't need one - I just want one. My Honda Accord with 210K miles runs quite nicely, and is worth more to me than it would be to a buyer. Thinking about my future car purchase, and the unsure feeling I have at this moment has made me hold off on my search. I often have felt slightly uneasy about things, and more often then not it is just the timing. I don't doubt the fact that the Lexus would be a good choice, but I doubt the timing in my life. What I do know, is when the time is right - I'll just know. Prior to being married, the people who were married would make comments about finding your mate. They would say, "you just know". When you're single, that's one of the most frustrating things that someone could say. How will I know that I know! That's no help at all. When I met my wife Melissa, though, I just knew. I knew that she was the right one for me. Having experienced a few things in life such as getting married, buying a house, and picking out a puppy - I've learned that I do just know when things are right, and just know when things are wrong. As cheesy as it sounds, life decisions are often made, in my opinion, because you just know.
